Why 24/7 Prayer?
The Thousand Times More 24/7 Prayer Movement exists to establish a continuous altar of prayer and raise believers who will faithfully stand in the gap before God.

Prayer is not merely preparation for ministry. Prayer is ministry. We believe that when God's people establish sustained prayer, hearts awaken, souls are saved, families are restored, churches are strengthened, strongholds are broken, leaders receive wisdom, communities change, nations are impacted and the purposes of God advance.

168 Hours
There are 168 hours in every week. Our first responsibility is to ensure every one of them is covered in prayer.
One Continuous Altar
When one watchman finishes praying, another begins. Prayer continues day and night.
Unlimited Watchmen
168 people is only the minimum needed for one person per hour. Several people may pray during the same hour. The more watchmen, the stronger the wall.

Ministering to God
Prayer begins with worship. Before asking God to move on earth, we first minister to Him.

Prayer must eventually lead us into the mission of Christ. We pray for souls, then we go and reach them. See Matthew 9:37–38.
